Self-hosted project management: installation and operations
Task Weave is self-hosted project management software installed in your team’s own Cloudflare environment. The software license and operation of your cloud environment are separate responsibilities.
What self-hosting means here
Your work data is stored in the Cloudflare environment your team owns and manages. Task Weave uses Workers, D1 and Access; your team manages authentication and cloud settings. The vendor does not operate customers’ cloud environments.
Self-hosting is an option when you want to choose where to deploy under your organization’s information policies. It also requires someone to manage cloud accounts, authentication, updates and backups. This is not a completely offline system.
Installation steps
The steps below start with a free trial. To buy a new installation without a trial, use the purchase page and receive your key automatically on the completion page after confirmed payment. If you already have a trial key, continue using that key in billing management.
- Explore the browser sample and check whether the workflow fits your team.
- Contact the operator through the introduction page. An installation key is issued after identity and installation details are checked.
- Prepare your own Cloudflare environment and use an active trial or subscription key to download the ZIP.
- Follow AI-INSTALL.md and the included guide to configure authentication, permissions and deployment.
- Evaluate behavior and operations during the 30-day trial before choosing a paid subscription.
Your team manages updates and backups
An administrator runs update commands from their own computer using the manual. The installation guide is written for both people and AI to follow. If AI assists you, your team still needs to review the commands and the handling of cloud administration permissions.
Before production use, decide where backups are stored, who can restore them and how authentication changes will be managed. Read the manual and verify those procedures during the free trial.
Price and trial
Task Weave costs US$15 per month per installation. Cloud service costs and administration are your responsibility. The 30-day trial requires no card and never converts automatically into a paid subscription. You can explicitly start another trial three calendar months after the previous trial ends, calculated in Japan time.
Data after a subscription ends
When entitlement ends, editing, restoration and API writes stop. Authenticated reading and Excel, HTML and JSON exports remain available for the installed data. Your Cloudflare account, authentication and stored data must remain operational. Your team continues to manage backups and cloud charges.
